I believe that the most effective education comes when the teacher and the student are actively involved in two-way communication. That’s why I’ve developed “collaborative leadership” education. Collaboration recognizes that everyone is different. Everyone comes with their own strengths and weaknesses.
My goal is not to create a “new” you but to help you find your “best” you. That’s why all my programs feature lots of discuss and back-and-forth exchanges. That’s especially easy to do in individual coaching. But I also work to create that same dynamic in group settings and in motivational presentations.
My educational background with a master’s degree in counseling, extensive training in leadership development and my 40+ years of experience as a pastor have given me a unique skill set to positively impact lives.
I’m a certified DISC behavioral styles trainer, a facilitator, John Maxwell Team leadership coach and an AACC-certified Leadership Coach. I am passionate about helping people in organizations make the changes that set their lives and careers on the path to excellence.
I like to tell stories, both humorous and more serious, that give insight into human behavior. My background allows me to call on Biblical teaching at times, but my sessions are not explicitly faith-based (with the exception of my pastoral coaching). My life’s work has been connecting with people of every background and all educational levels in all types of places.
